What You Get With a Stateline Tech Website
Mobile-First Website Design
Most of your visitors are on a phone. Every website Stateline Tech builds is designed to load fast and read right on a small screen first.
SEO Built Into Every Website
Page titles, meta descriptions, a sitemap, and structured data are included on day one, so Google knows exactly who you are and where you work. When you want to climb beyond the basics, our local SEO services pick up where the build leaves off.
Websites Designed to Turn Visitors Into Customers
Every page gets a click-to-call phone number, a short contact form, and one clear next step for the visitor.
You Own Your Website
Your domain, your hosting, your content. If we ever part ways, everything goes with you.
Shopify, WordPress and Custom Website Design in Illinois and Wisconsin
Stateline Tech excels in Shopify website creation, and we're just as comfortable handling WordPress, HTML, and other platforms. We build on all of them and will tell you plainly which fits, not which is easier for us.
Shopify Website Design
Shopify is usually the right answer for anyone selling products — it's the platform we run our own stores on, every day, and have for years. A Shopify build from us covers the store design, your products and collections, payments, shipping rates, tax settings, and the SEO basics Shopify doesn't do for you: page titles, descriptions, image alt text, and structured data. Because we also sell on Amazon, Etsy, eBay, and Walmart, we can connect your Shopify store to the marketplaces when you're ready to sell in more places than one.
WordPress Website Design
WordPress suits content-heavy sites — service businesses, professional offices, organizations that publish. We build WordPress sites that stay fast and stay secure, without the plugin sprawl that makes so many small-business WordPress sites slow and hackable. If someone else built your WordPress site and disappeared, we take those over too: updates, backups, security, and the fixes they left behind.
Custom Website Development
A fast custom build makes sense when a template would fight what you're trying to do — a web app, a tool, a site that has to load instantly on rural cell connections. Our own projects, from image-compression tools to favicon generators, are custom-coded from scratch, so this isn't a service we resell. It's what we do for ourselves.
Website Redesign and Website Repair Services
Not every business needs a new website. If your current site is slow, dated, hard to use on a phone, or invisible on Google, a website redesign or repair is often the fastest win — and it starts at $900 instead of $2,900. Common fixes we make: pages that take six seconds to load, images that push the layout around, missing page titles and descriptions, contact forms that quietly stopped working, and mobile layouts that cut off half the text. We'll audit what's there and tell you honestly whether it's worth saving. Sometimes it is. When it isn't, we'll show you exactly why before you spend anything on a rebuild. Selling products? Our ecommerce consulting covers store cleanups too.
Web Design for Farms, Shops and Small-Town Businesses on the Stateline
The stateline area isn't Chicago, and a good website here reflects that. We build websites for dairy and livestock farms that need buyers to find them, crop and grain operations, manufacturing and machine shops that want to show up when purchasing managers search, trades and contractors who lose calls to competitors with better Google presence, shops and restaurants on small-town main streets, professional offices that need to look as sharp online as they are in the room, and makers turning a hobby into an online shop. We grew up around agriculture and industry in this region — the website we build you will speak your customers' language because it's ours too.

Our 5-Step Website Design Process
You never pay before you know exactly what you are getting.
Step 1 — Free consultation. We start with a fifteen-minute call or a coffee. You tell us what the business needs, and we tell you what a website can and cannot fix. There is no cost and no pressure.
Step 2 — Website and competitor review. We do a paid review of your business, your current website if you have one, and what your competitors rank for. The fee is credited toward the build.
Step 3 — Page plan and approval. You approve the page list, the words, and the design direction before anything is built, so there are no surprises at launch.
Step 4 — Build and launch. We complete the design, content, forms, and the full SEO checklist — titles, descriptions, sitemap, structured data, and Google Search Console — before we call it live. A standard five-page website typically launches in two to four weeks once we have your content and photos.
Step 5 — Ongoing website maintenance. We host your website and handle updates, security, backups, and small changes from $95 a month — or we hand you the keys and stay a phone call away. Either way, the person who answers the phone is the person who does the work.
